  check your local news for when sundown happens in your area, so that you may pass the emblems--chocolate milk and pop tarts--in observance of liberation from the watchtower.

  for review, the pop tarts represent one's body, which will no longer sit in a kingdom hall.

  Will definately do something in your honor that evening. Question though, does it have to be pop-tarts and chocolate milk bruh? I was leaning more towards buffalo wings and Guiness, but if it has to be pop-tarts and chocolate milk I'll do it.

  i slept horribly last night because of stress.

  it's been a while since i had insomnia, but the meetings are slowly causing that disorder to make a comeback.

  the " bible " study was one of the most messed up things that i have heard in a long time.

  LOL(cynically). Gotta love it. This is as bad as abusive husbands on the Lifetime Channel yelling "I only beat you cuz I love you!!! Don't make me hurt you Beatrice!" Messed up organization. Makes you question God's existance at times.

  half of that 75% get disability and ssi checks.

  it was kinda funny sitting there listening to them go down the line, name by name, of the ones auxilliary pioneering since the numbers are dropped to 30 hours for march & april.

  as they were doing the names i was saying to myself, "she don't work", "she supposedly can't work", "he hasn't worked in years", "she gets a check", "she's probably gonna lie about the amount of hours she did" etc.. gotta love it.. i don't know if this happens in your congregation or not, but have you ever heard someone remark about someone else behind their back, "she can show up at every gathering, but she can't show up for field service!

  I don't know if this happens in your congregation or not, but have you ever heard someone remark about someone else behind their back, "She can show up at every gathering, but she can't show up for field service!" That's kinda how I'm looking at it right now like how is it that you can pioneer and still collect a check from the State without so much as an attempt to find work? Maybe I'm being judgemental, Lord knows I can be.

  The Apostate Boogeyman--a figment of JW imagination

  apostates are a figment of the jw imagination.

  not necessarily the dictionary definition of the word apostate, which simply means a person who leaves their religion, for by that definition everyone who leaves a religion to become a jw is an apostate--but the jw conception of the apostate, both as an individual and as a 'group' is imaginary.. .

  for starters, the watchtower goes beyond the definition of merely leaving the religion, if a person disagrees with a doctrine or practice of the organization, even if they dont voice it, that is a thoughtcrime called apostasy.

  not saying that's my personal opinion, but this week's congregation bible study asks the viewpoint question, "would apostate literature or internet sites intrigue you or repulse you?

  "- jeremiah book, page 70, para 7. .

  gotta love it.. i guess apostate sites are like crime scenes.

  for years, i was told this..... " anyone who leaves the org is bitter, sad, and worse off, why do you think they come back???

  guess what guys i am the opposite, now i quit cold-turkey (looking back, i should have faded correctly) i am planning on going to the memorial this month just to hear all "the friends" tell me how much they missed me.

  since i have left the meetings, (jan. was my last meeting, i think).

  I want to cry after seeing that in writing. What a waste of my life

  You still got plenty of life left to go. Bernard Hopkins is 48 and might win a light heavyweight title this weekend. 30 is nothing, you're still a kid in some folk's eyes at that age.
